It's a pad...for a bar.
What can I say? It's a pad for a handlebar so you don't whack your face/goggles/helmet chinbar. This one is red. It matches Honda dirt bikes perfectly. I put it on a CRF250F. Fits beautifully. I don't know how effective it is...I hope to not find out.

My boy is riding a 150R Honda and this is what he wanted. Perfect fit and also met someone at the shop missing some teeth because he didn’t have a pad on and his helmet shifted and hit his mouth off his bars. After hearing that he made sure he had one on there.
