Superb quality, drop in replacement for Dynaco A10, A25, A25XL tweeters
This is a superb tweeter, a drop in replacement for the Dynaco A-10 or A-25XL and far superior to the original OEM Seas unit in the XL; note its Frequency response: 880-30,000 HZ, the A-25XL crossover is 1,200 HZ. In addition, the unit has been used by hobbyists for projects and they've reported on their success at the various seller's websites, including Parts Express.Internet research indicates for the A-25 the SEAS Prestige 27TFFC (H0881) Textile Dome Tweeter can substitute for the A-25 tweeter, but I suspect this unit will work just as well if not have better dispersion. However, I can only vouch for its use in the A-10 and A-25XL, where it is far superior, especially in the latter, than the OEM SEAS unit. The sound is demonstrably reminiscent of the Dynaco family sound; in fact some A-25 speakers used Scanspeak drivers.Anyone who has an older Dynaco A-10 unit should consider to give these tweeters a try but it should be a must for the A-25XL; I recall my original's ringing stridently and not nearly as durable.Highly recommended.Update July 2019: My Dynaco A25s that are American made with USS tweeters, the right one went bad. I dropped this unit it and as another reviewer wrote, it works great, more extended high end than the USS tweeters, which themselves had a better high end than the SEAS units; I really can't tell the difference in sound quality. This is a great unit for many classic speakers or if you choose to build your own, since it runs fine at 1,250KH.Update 12/21/2019: There was nothing wrong with my classic Dynaco A25 USS tweeters; the issue was the amp. Oops. Nevertheless, even these Chinese made units are almost the same other than extended higher frequencies than the original SEAS. A better alternative per Madisound is the ScanSpeak Discovery D2606/9220 that is identical but better build quality.I had been using refurbished, "fixed" eBay purchased Carver amplifiers. Replaced with Emotiva A-300 (A-150 for dual A10 center channel) work superbly. Also I am surprised that the Chinese made, homely Elac Debut 2.0 B6.2 cannot compare, despite the rave reviews, to any Dynaco using these tweeters, especially in reproducing the human voice, since the classic Dynacos will provide more musical detail, be more neutral but you can't beat the made in China Elac's price (currently around $200). A Dynaco A10 sells for around $300 with shipping on eBay. I'd still pick that and upgrade the Tweeters if you want better highs and frequency extension. As per the Madisound page, SEAS recommends, however, the more expensive Seas Prestige 27TFFC (H0881) and so do they; Madisound is a fantastic Amazon Seller but some products are only on their site. I highly recommend their service and professionalism.

Good tweeter for the money, can be modded and safely used with a simple high-pass cap (not a junky one).
This is a near-exact replacement for an older version of this driver made in the 90s that I had one blown up. Modified these to behave more like the old ones and dropped them in. Why spend nearly the same for the dome/motor spider when you can also get the rest of it with updated pole plate and center pole piece? Come with ferrofluid in the gap. You can decide if that's a good thing or not (I have mixed feelings).Decent tweeter capable of excellent things if you know what you're doing for the price of a "meh" tweeter. Can be modified to handle a pretty wide bandwith so it can be crossed over with a simply high-pass at a fairly low freq. Not the most crystal clear ultra-high-end tweeter, but can soundstage very well in a good system.Excellent tweeter for the money, worth working with for short money to make surprisingly decent speakers.

Awesome sound quality, but HUGE sized!
Awesome sound quality, superb frequency response. It's the best sounding tweeter I've listened to. Better than my Paradigm monitors. One issue though...the size is HUGE...it's not really 1" tweeter (never), it has in fact 3" magnet with 4" case, a monster tweeter! 1" is probably about internal materials...and come'on...it should never be advertised as 1"...

Great sound for the money!
I was looking for a drop-in solution to replacing the original Vifa tweeter shown in the photo that was in my 1990-vintage Mirage 760 speakers. My ears told me that the original Vifa tweeters were not sounding as good as they once were (hey, they're 28 years old) so I decided it was time to replace them. A little research showed this Vifa D27TG-06 to fit the bill on specs and physical dimensions. Wasn't sure how they'd sounds, but for the reasonable price, I figure it was worth a gamble. When I installed them and fired up the speakers -- WOW! I could immediately hear a big improvement in the high-frequency portion of the audio coming from the speakers. Well worth the money spent. Highly recommended.

Perfect for Paradigm
Exact replacement driver for Paradigm SE-series MKIII. I used them in my Monitor 9 V.3 this time. They are a drop in replacement for the aluminum domes, which I didn’t like. The do not however “drop in” the Monitor v.1 & v.2 without modifications to the housing or making an adapter. V.1 & V.2 are the “bat wing” style diaphragms.

Nice tweeter
Amazing sound from these babies. Crystal clear and it did match with my bookshelves perfectly. I would recommend it anytime.
