Good fit, easy to install...
Shroud works well and helped get my Jeep's temps back under control. Here are a couple tips for everyone. You should definitely check your motor and transmission mounts before you install your new shroud. They may be the reason your shroud is broke in the first place. If you have shot mounts, you will most likely end up buying another shroud... or worse a new radiator in the near future. If you remove the two 10mm bolts on the passenger side of the framing that runs along the top of the radiator and remove the 8mm nut from the stud on top of the radiator, you can roll the support up and rock the passenger side of the radiator toward the grill. If you do that, you should be able to slip the new shroud in place fairly easily. Also be careful of the temp senor that is on the front of the motor (white plug on a brass fitting on 1996 and newer Cherokees I believe). If you are not careful you can break that off while sliding the new shroud in.

A must if you want to keep you Cherokee from overheating
It’s exact fit in very durable plastic. I thought it was going to be a two minute install but ended up taking me about 20 minutes. Unless you already have the frontend removed, it’s pretty tight squeezing it in to place. Just take your time. It dropped the motors temperature by about 10°. Very pleased with this simple peace.

Exact fit for my 96 Jeep Cherokee
So, I bought my 96 Jeep Cherokee Country 4.0L used with no shroud and come close to losing fingers many times. so I figure it was time to find one. Not sure what it looked like I took a change and purchased this one and it fits perfectly. A little hard to install with the fan, but I figured it out by laying it flat put the bottom lip of the shroud between the fan and radiator and start standing it up as I fed it further down in between. It was little tricky, but worked for me. Great product and highly recommend.

Must have for keeping the Jeep cool
The shroud was used to replace the electric fan setup on my 2001 Jeep Cherokee (XJ). Worked as intended. No big fitment issues. The shroud did leave a bit of gap on the radiator but also could be my Jeep is 20 years old. Installed this with a Hayden Fan clutch, and a fan blade from the salvage yard. Working nicely as an OEM replacement that is keeping my Jeep cool.

Fits a 92 xj like a glove + maid my jeep run 5-15 degrees cooler
my old one cracked and broke over time and i never bought a new one until now. i have a 180 thermostat in my jeep and it always seemed to run a little warmer than it was supposed to like 190-195 now its right at 180 so the shroud did help in cooling plus it maid it look a whole lot better under the hood aswell

Fits perfectly, works perfectly
I have a 1999 Cherokee Sport, and like most of them my OEM fan shroud was falling apart. The Cherokee fan is not finger friendly without a shroud, and it runs warmer without one, so I ordered this one. It took about 5 minutes to install it. It wasn't necessary to remove anything, just work it in around the fan, align it with the slots, and install two bolts (with washers). As mentioned in another review you should use washers to avoid cracking the plastic shroud while tightening the bolts. Another reason to use washers is that the factory should have originally used washers. These shrouds are prone to wearing out at the bolt holes from vibrations, and the washers will reduce it from occurring.
