I used my previous WorkLion heavily for four years before buying this replacement.A great feature of the new one is that the Green side which is marked off in inches,is now also marked in centimeters and I no longer have to flip it to use the metricmeasurements. Of course, there is still the Blue side which is all metric

Great mat. Thicker than Olfa or any other cutting mat i have. I have a smaller Worklion mat and like it so much a ordered a larger one.

I've just started to use it, but it's heavy duty material and doesn't appear to show any of the cut lines caused by the rotary cutter I'm using.

Is this pad durable? Yes. Self-healing? Yes.So why only four stars? The description says "non slip." I don't know whose definition of non slip they are using, but it isn't mine.And this may be a nit, but why couldn't there be more color choices? The blue is great but it's on the metric side. The side with US dimensions is a cheesy green. So I use the blue side.

This is an excellent cutting mat for leather work and crafts, here's why:First, the softness is perfect: So it allows your knife to cut into the mat slightly, preventing damage to your table or main work surface, but also preventing your knife from going completely through the mat and damaging or even cutting it in half. At the same time, the softness prevents unnecessary wear to your knife itself. Before this, believe it or not, I was actually using an old chair mat for a cutting mat, but my tools dulled very quick. This mat has made a huge difference in my work process.Also, it is a great thickness, with multiple layers. The topmost layer is quite soft, perfect for cutting on, while the inner layer is harder and provides a firmness to this mat. However, it is vital to use and store this mat flat; otherwise, it will develop a curve.By the way, to extend the life of these mats, I've read that it's best to keep them hydrated. So I put some water on mine monthly to keep the cutting surface and membrane soft and supple. I want this to last a long time.Third, the markings on the green side are super useful when laying out and cutting material. You can see the amount of wear and tear on the Green side - which I've used almost exclusively.This has been a great value for me. The only con - if you want to call it that - is that I wish it were a little bigger. Still, I would buy this again because the features and size work well for a small maker's space.

This mat is nice and thick. I returned it because it did not fit the recess on my Martelli sewing table.
