Love it!
This is my favorite of the brands I've tried. It blends well and has a strong matcha flavor. There is a bitterness to it because it isn't ceremonial grade but I use it for lattes and it's hardly noticeable once it's mixed with sweetener/milk. I've tried more expensive, ceremonial grade matcha brands and actually prefer this bolder flavor to those that are more mild.

Doesn't foam when whisked
I'm not super picky about matcha; I'm not an expert by any means. This tastes ok to me, but I wish it foamed up when whisked (with a high quality whisker) as other matchas I've used in the past have.

Iced soy matcha lattes never tasted better!
The COLOR STAYS BRIGHT GREEN even after I add in my soy milk and ice cubes. It doesn’t taste grassy either like some matcha blends that turn brownish-green.Also, the taste is on the delicate side without much bitterness, and I usually boil my water then I add some cold water into it to get it to be around 180-200 degrees F in order to reduce acidity and bitterness. I only add enough water to dissolve the matcha and I whisk furiously with my tiny spoon because I haven’t invested in a wooden matcha whisk yet (whoops). And I still haven’t made a bitter cup of matcha with this Matcha tea certifiably from Japan!!! To me, the ones from China definitely had a weird aftertaste. Not this one from Japan though :)Grade A matcha for a somewhat novice matcha drinker like myself for a really amazing price!

You get what you pay for
It's not ceremonial grade and it doesn't state that it is. It's not an exceptional matcha. It's decent culinary grade matcha with a reasonable price. Good color, good smell, good taste, and foams up when whisked, also good for baking. Doesn't leave a chalky finish behind like some of the more pricey ones I've tried.Anyone who thinks they can buy ceremonial grade matcha for this price needs to stop and do some research on Ceremonial Grade. Also, unless you're running a shop that requires you to use large amounts of this stuff, buy the smaller portions. It loses its freshness once you've unsealed the bag, so drink it quickly or get it in smaller amounts.

Not horrible but definitely not great
I drink a ton of matcha and this one was an impulse purchase. This would be fine if you just add it to smoothies or baked goods. But don’t try to drink this as a cup of matcha and hot water: usucha. Too astringent and not finely ground enough. The color is more yellow than green like most culinary grade matches. But you get what you pay for every time with matcha.

The best price, bold but crave-worthy taste.
The best price, trust me I searched for ages. It has a bold taste which some may find appealing or unappealing but I found it craveable and will buy again! We mix with milk and I usually use about 3x the amount most recipes call for because I need the caffeine (law school). This matcha would be good on it's own or mixed with any milk. I did need to add honey to temper some lingering bitterness (probably because of how much powder I use). I typically add honey or brown sugar anyway. Cannot beat this matcha for the price. The package is nice in its subtlety and looks good on my counter while I wait for a permanant cannister to arrive.

TERRIBLE- DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!
So I've been to Japan, I have been a weeb since before I was even in kindergarten and aside from consuming a lot of anime I have definitely consumed a lot of Japanese food over the years. This matcha tastes terrible; Everything about it was bad except for the color. Mine was the correct color I'd even say it looked a bit too grean lol! However I sadly couldn't help but notice after purchasing this product that on the back it say's " for cooking" IE ; not meant to be made into Matcha late's which is what I use it for. So if you want to make Matcha pancakes, or other assorted Matcha flavored goods then I'm sure this product would suite your needs; however would advise against this product if you intend to use it for beverages. I don't ever add anything into my match late's - I literally take milk, put in some matcha, whisk then drink so I can tell you that my perception of it's taste was not altered in any way shape or form. Note that becuase it's cooking grade it's DEFINITELY NOT ceremonial grade which I honestly could care less if it's ceremonial grade or not tbh but if that's something you might care about then it's good to know. I'm giving the company 1 star becuase 1. It tastes bad 2. definitely not ceremonial grade so not only does it taste bad but it's clearly poor quality matcha and 3. they lied about it suiting beverages; like I said this is cooking grade matcha which is not at all what was advertised so overall 4. this was a total waste of my money so hopefully I can prevent others for wasting theirs. Note that my expectations aren't too high- I ordered my product and expected what was advertised which I clearly didn't get that. Lying is shameful and more importantly it tastes bad so please take this review into consideration before purchasing this product.
