KavaAcid Reduced Instant Coffee in Glass Jar, 4 Ounce (Pack of 1)

I am an instant coffee kind of gal, and I have found the taste and aroma of Kava low-acid coffee just as appealing as my old standby, Starbuck's medium roast instant coffee. Plus, as an added bonus, the acid level is lower in Kava. Great discovery!

In a hurry and don't have time to make a whole pot

I need acid reduced coffee and we used to be able to get this locally but no more, like a lot of products.I was happy to find this. It's about $4 more than it used to be for only a 4oz jar. But it's good and it works.Doesn't go very far since the jar is small. I store it in the fridge and it stays pretty fresh for quite a while.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the Coffee. Have been drinking about 3 months now. Unfortunately, it’s double the price and half the product of the leading brand. I’ll be back if it ever drops to a lower price. 15.00 for 4ozs is just a little stepe in these times.

Wow !!! How much more can this go up in Price ??? Well a lot if my husband is a good example. WE are having so often sold-out stories when we find even the 4 oz. jars are now selling at $ 45 we buy them and are glad to get it. My husband is in his mid 80;s and when this is about the only fluid he will drink Yes it is what we will pay. This is a supply and demand price driven Economy item. To us it is worth every $ We must not be the only ones that think this is the best as so far even searching online we only find a few bottles at a time for sell. We have ordered a case of 4 oz only to be told it is gone out of stock if you see it better grab it as someone like us will and think it is grate at any price.

I know what you are thinking...Instant coffee? Let me tell you, this coffee is not like other instant coffees. I was skeptical at first too. The taste is so robust and not chalky like other instant coffee. It comes in granules rather than a fine powder. You do mix it with water like the others but for some reason there is so much more of a kick with this one. My husband and I noticed that we got more of a jag with this little instant coffee than some of the regular coffees we found at the store. We like to take this little jar camping with us because all we have to do is boil some water and don't have to wait to percolate some over the camp fire. The size of the jar is also convenient for packing in our camp gear. The jar is glass so it won't smush up on you or leak into your pack. You could also repurpose the glass jar when finished if you like to recycle. Enjoy my friends!!

This used to be widely available. Now, it seems to be scarce, hence the inflated price. Years ago, my Mom used it for a while when her stomach was bothering her. I decided to give it an expensive try because of acidic stomach issues. I used it this morning. All I can say about it is, a person has to set aside any thought that it will taste like coffee. Accept that it's going to be a hot drink which contains caffeine but that's about the extent of the relationship to the real thing. On a positive note, I do think the reduced acid might be helping. I've ordered another brand, NOT INSTANT, of coffee which I'm hoping will be better tasting. Until that arrives, I'll put on my mental blinders drink Kava and pretend the heck out of my morning "coffee".
