KEEP BOTH YOUR LEGS HEALTHY ! USE COMPRESSION STOCKINGS (read for more deatils)
If you read this entire review, I would love to hear what you think and if you had any past experiences with compression socks/stockings, that way I can hear other people's thoughts from other fields of work. So leave me a message or an update.I want to state that these unisex stockings are actually made for everyone (male and female) that works standing up for extended periods of time no matter your field of work. Not just nurses but teachers, flight attendants, chefs, doctors, athletes, literally anyone who stands for a living. Listen theses are unisex stockings and yes both female and males nurse and even non nursing people should wear them. Nursing is hard and after just 5 years as working as an ICU / O.R. nurse ( yes I work in two different departments) my back and legs have taken a beating. Standing for hours on end. I love being a nurse but it has taken me a very long time to learn how to take care of my health and my legs. So now I want to pass on what I learned from my fellow nurses. Let me start off by saying they are made of excellent material ( tough and resistant) although I first said to my self they look a little dainty but I gave them a try, after tons and tons of peer pressure from my fellow O.R. nurses to give it a try. Ok I have been a runner all my life all thru high school and now as a nurse my legs mean everything. I started to notice that I started to develop small little spider veins down by both my inner ankles. I just thought this was a normal thing that happens until some of my nurses noticed my ankles and they quickly advised me that this could lead to varicose veins later on down. On the recommendation from all of my nurse work colleagues I decided to try the Biester Compression Stockings Black XL a try. Am 5'10 170-175 LBS. Although thigh highs are definitely not my style not even in a million years , I will say this my legs don’t hurt and plus now I wear my nurse clogs ( I also learned the benefits of wearing clogs from other well experienced nurses) Of course I don’t wear them outside of work but then again I practically live at work and go visit my house occasionally ( LOL ). My feet and legs feel great after my shift (12 to 14 hours). Listen take it from me your health is more important than just dealing with the pain and leg restlessness. These thigh highs give me the right amount of compression (20mm-30mm) and they are thin enough that I can wear my Dansko clogs all day with no problems at all. These thigh highs with clogs are very widely used among almost all my nursing coworkers. I am also wearing another brand of (20mm - 30mm) compression stockings every once in a while too. At the end of the day what is more important to you they way they look or your health and comfort of your legs ? Give these Beister compression stockings a shot, at the end of your nursing career all you will have left is your health and your memories from nursing, your going to need your legs to be healthy. To all nurses "Be your best, do your best and stay in the best shape you can !After hearing, reading and talking it over with all my nurse / doctor coworkers I wanted to add this update concerning the fact that some people may get a rash. Not all my coworkers got a rash, some adapted just fine with no rash or irritation at all it all depends on your body. Yes both male and female surgeons and O.R. nurses wear them in the O.R. plus it helps keep you warm in the O.R. every O.R. nurse knows how cold it gets. This update is for everyone that has used these Beister compression stockings or any other brand of compression stockings and got a rash because of the silicone dots on the top band, again not everyone will develop a rash. I also developed a rash but it was very light, some other nurses that I know had a more pronounced rash. However it does go away after a few days. when your skin adapts to wearing it unless your allergic to it. A medical professional or unless you know already can tell you if you have an allergy to it, so keep that in mind. I along with many of my coworkers have used some creams to help soothe the rash. Since the rash went away ( took me about 1 1/2 to 2 days for the rash to heal, some coworkers took up to 3 to 4 days). I have been using these stockings daily for almost 1 year and I have been rash / irritation free since that initial first rash. I and several other nurses have all used a bit of hydrocortisone cream on the rash but again every "body" is very different from everyone else. So DON'T use any cream or other therapy your not familiar with or has not been medically prescribed to you and always consult a medical professional to see what is best for your body. After a few days your legs (thigh area) will get used to wearing them all day. So just be aware that some people might develop a rash. One more thing, you need to learn how to put theses stockings on and you need to know where to put them on your leg (meaning were you need to position them ) so that they don't slip down. A lot of people complain that they slip down during the day but if you don't put them on right then you will definitely have issues wearing them. Don't let that discourage you from wearing these or any other compression stockings. If you have any questions or tips leave me a message.

Excellent Support Without Sacraficing Comfort!
These compression thigh-high socks have been a totak game-changer for me. I wear them during long shifts at work at a hospital. They make a noticeable difference in reducing leg fatigue, swelling, and bruising. The compression is firm yet comfortable not too tight and they stay up all day without rolling down or cutting into my thighs. The material feels breathable and durable, and they still look and feel great after multiple washes. I also appreciate the sleek design it is seamless under clothes. If you're on your feet all day or dealing with circulation issues, these are a must-have. My legs feel energized, not exhausted.

Smaller size but good
They looked great, I got these so it wouldn't look like I'm wearing compression socks, but I have skinny ass legs, and if you don't have pretty thin legs these might be too small. I'm 5 7" and almost 200 lbs but I'd say my thighs are maybe 15 inch around each, That's a guess. Anyway if you don't care about how they look and just need alot of compression then go for it. They weren't too hard to get on and had non slip grippy silicone at the top to keep them up that worked for me

Super comfy and great for POTS but maybe not great if you stim a lot
First of all, these are pretty helpful in that they do provide good compression and I can tell that they help reduce some of my POTS symptoms. They’re also very comfy as the title says, at least once you get used to the seam being right on tips toes. Unfortunately, they’re not the most durable — one of the ways that I stim is by curling my toes a lot, and these socks did not last more than like 3 months before developing holes in the toes.Overall a good product, but probably not the best for me.

Walk around in these first
As a first time compression hose wearer I tried on several pair to find the best fit...not too loose, not too snug. These felt the best but when actually walking through the airport the left-leg hose started to slip until it became a knee-hi instead of a thigh-hi. Not good!

Honestly, Here’s What I Thought
These Beister compression stockings are a game-changer! They provide firm support without feeling too tight, and the silicone band keeps them from slipping. Perfect for long flights or standing all day. My legs feel less tired and more energized. Highly recommend for anyone dealing with varicose veins or swelling.

Compression Stockings
These worked great for my husband after his total knee replacement. They really helped to keep the swelling down in his knee. Would definitely purchase again.
