All were sturdy, one was easy to fold, and none were lightweight. This 2-step mini stool is perfect. Being short, I needed a lightweight but sturdy step stool in the kitchen to access the uppermost shelves. I also needed a step stool that folded very flat, was small enough to fit out of sight under the kitchen island, and be easy to fold. This one is perfect. Please note that step stool does not have a handle to hold on to when stepping on it and the maximum weight it can handle is 225 lb. I would purchase this again.
