So far so good
Just received my thumb ring today, 3 weeks earlier than what was quoted as the earliest date. Fits well and when I took it out for a test run this afternoon it worked well. This is my first thumb ring, and I am just now learning how to use it. So far I really enjoy it, but it is definitely different than shooting with three finger (Mediterranean style). I have been shooting traditional for over 18 years and shoot a handmade long bow for the last 16 years. I picked this thumb ring up because I just bought a new Mongolian bow and wanted to shoot like the Easterner's did/do. I will update this post as time goes on; how it holds up, how it shoots but for now this is a great item.

AWESOME! Opens up a whole new world of good arrow releases and greater arrow speed.
I like SHORT recurve bows (48" - 52"), which are impossible to draw with the 3 finger hold when drawing beyond 24". I have purchased several of these thumb rings, and they are AWESOME! Once you get familiar with the technique, you will never have a flawed release. Using this is as good as, and a whole lot simpler, than using a compound bow release trigger!

Very nice
Very nice thumb ring. I was worried about the measurements having to do it myself but when it came I was impressed with the fit. If you order one and have never used one before like me then you want to be very easy on the first few pulls to find out how the bow and string and your thumb will react to using one of these. I am very happy with the product and the speed it was shipped.

Works great hard on the index finger.
It takes getting use to but it's great for shooting. My only complaint is that it's hard in the index finger because of the hollow side for the thumb pad but I find it hurts to pull on my thumb if I don't hold it with my index finger

Ordered 2 of these, one for my daughter and one for myself. We measured the same way. Her's fits perfectly, mine is huge. I e-mailed the vendor and they told me to remeasure. I e-mailed them back with photos and have not heard back yet.The ring itself is as advertised. I keep getting the same measurements.

Works good now.
This item works well. I tried to follow the sizing directions, but mine came with a loose fit. I managed to shim it with some leather and wrapped string at the narrow part that goes over the thumb. Works good now.

product works great and i enjoy shooting with it
i originally ordered the wrong size, make sure the measurements are loose on your thumb, do not measure it tightly or it wont fit. product works great and i enjoy shooting with it. i recommend it for those who shoot with their fingers to try this as an alternative to the new triggers that are out there. it takes a little bit to get used to though.

Garbage. Avoid.
Broke/chipped on first use, at the most important spot - the inside bottom part at the root of the thumb. I was lucky it didn't also lacerate my thumb. Not worth the money.
