I received this battery the last week of January 2019. It died completely the first week of May 2019. It was easy to install, but I’d done a few before. I found the directions less helpful than other kits, but the additional tools in this kit were better than others. The battery life on a per charge basis was ok. The capacity is less than desired for a heavy user, I had to recharge twice during the day. The luke warm feelings I had for the battery went ice cold when it died for good only 3 months after purchase. It can hold a slight charge, but can’t put out enough power to boot the phone. Super disappointed.

This is Apple's planned obsolescence at its worst: if you so much as disable the iPhone 7 battery, it locks out the Home button and cannot be remedied without an expensive repair. I've repaired many older iPhones, but starting at 7, Apple got their "screw you" mojo finely tuned: if you buy Apple products, you're at their mercy for repairs; no low-cost DIY repairs for Apple products anymore.

I loved how this product came with everything you would need and an extra screen protector as a bonus! The only difficulty when installing the battery was that the previous batter had a really strong adhesive that was really difficult to get off, but that in no way is this products fault! I also really am happy that my phone is back to working good as new
