No Dice with the visor, but great customer service
Fit is spot on to the sizing chart. I measured for a large and it fits perfectly.Great looking helmet. Probably not the sturdiest helmet out there, but way better than my current non dot helmet. Doesn’t look overly large for its size either. Outside shell is proportional.Overall it’s a nice helmet for a decent price.***Update*** So I need to change my review after wearing this for the past couple days. I had gotten stung by a bee near the corner of my eye the day before I got this helmet, so I thought that was affecting my vision, but it's the shield. I saw it on another review, and didn't realize it until wearing it around more. Optically the shield is not correct, and is really hard to see out of at night. As others described, it’s like trying to look through a glass of water. Love the look and feel of the helmet, but I obviously need to pony up a few more bucks and buy the competitors helmet. Looks come second to function. As a side note, the seller was great when I messaged them about my issue, and even sent me a second shield to try. Unfortunately, the outcome was the same. They said they would speak with the manufacturer about it. If and when they ever get that corrected, I would definitely try again, and applaud their stand up customer service.

AWESOME!!!
What a great deal!! This helmet gives the look and feel of much more expensive helmets and pulls it off Extremely Well!! Comes with a clear shield- spent an extra 30$ on the iridium shield and I love it! The padding is nice, a little firm but nice. Snug for me- I wear a small- ordered a small- I know once the helmet breaks in it will be perfect. Also, the amount of outside noise that is cancelled out is REALLY surprising! I thought it would be loud with lots of wind noise- not at all! Quite the opposite in fact. And the vents are great and provide really good amounts of air flow when you are riding! A Bluetooth headset or ear buts make this thing perfect!!Best helmet on the market at this price point!!! Amazing!

Good looking cheap helmet
They say you get what you pay for, and such is the case with this helmet. The helmet is definitely a way cheaper version (by 300 dollars) of Simpson helmets. I bought it understanding that it is mainly for looks and not safety or functionality. What I mean is that, while it says it is DOT approved it certainly feels as if it was a novelty helmet. It is very light and comfortable. My $80.00 half helmet DOT seems built better and of tougher material than this one. I have another helmet from a good brand that I scored for $120.00 and the material feels way of better quality than this one.In all, for the price, this helmet is bad@ss looking and I’m sure on low impact crash will provide some protection, much better than a skully helmet would. But if you tend to do freeway riding I wouldn’t count on this to protect you on a high impact accident.4 Stars cause the helmet is as described and definitely will get you compliments as I already had people comment they like it and I haven’t even been riding that much.Side note:GoPro mounted nice.I also added the tinted visor as shown, no issues installing. Make sure it is nice and tight so it works as intended. I’m sure it will require adjustments as it gets used over time. One of the screws holding visor was a bit rusty already, got new ones at the hardware store that I liked. No big deal.

Good helmet for the cost, but there’s a reason it’s so cheap
UPDATED: I’ve owned the helmet for a year now. After about 4-6 months of daily use, the little threaded rod that holds the visor position selector in place has come apart. The nut on the inside of the helmet is now rattling around inside with no way to retrieve it. The visor can be installed right enough for it to hold itself up in certain spots, but it will not lock into place. I’ve included a picture and taken away one star as this is still a nice and good looking helmet for the cost.Pretty good helmet at a low cost. You definitely get what you pay for. I splurged and got the orange/red visor, it looks awesome. Bottom line up front: it will do the job, but look to pay more for authenticity and protection.Pros:Affordable Simpson copyChangeable visorsCan see at night with tinted visorAll around protectionSleek and compact by comparisonHelmet doesn’t touch mouthChin strap has D rings and strap keeping snapRemovable chin/neck pads in event of accidentIncluded cinch bagCons:No DOT label found beneath padding, highly doubt this is DOT approvedNo auto slide for visor switch between clear and tintVisors must be manually changed (easy, but slow)Tinted visors are over priced for qualityWent through two distorted and one scratched “new” visorsStill a little on the large sidePadding could be firmerRemovable chin/neck pads do not have an ‘emergency’ red for easy identificationChin strap needs different mounting position; chokes throat if too snug when tilting head downRoad noise is very prevalent but not excessive as a half helmetMatte finish scratches easilySilver vents are fake, purely cosmetic
