Particularly handy if you're elderly or handicapped, because you no longer have to run to find your cell phone or have to keep it near you all the time when home. I was skeptical that it worked, but it works perfectly and even announces when you have an incoming text and who it's from! I use my old magicJack phone number as my "landline,"and it works well enough, just had to get a less than $10 line filter to reduce the magicJack static that is always existed! Buy this system... You won't regret it.
