Fantastic bargain
The media could not be loaded. The scissors are all that I wanted and more when I searched for playdoh scissors. I needed them to be affordable, be able to cut playdoh, and ideally not injure a child learning how to cut. Check check check!I received all 10 pairs in both bags, for a total of 20 pairs of scissors. The little yellow flip lever is great for beginner hands that may get tired from cutting. The durable plastic blades are sharp enough to cut paper, with some controlled small snips using the inner most part of the blades. But, I imagine they will be able to cut along the full length of the blade when used with playdoh, what I purchased them for. Bonus, the plastic is easily sanitized and I don't have to worry about rust! At less than $1 a pair, these were a great investment.-A Kindergarten Teacher

Good beginner scissors
I'm happy with this purchase. These are exactly the type of beginner scissors lve been looking for. No metal safe to touch. Perfect for teaching how to cut paper and scissor safety. Light weight. The quality is better than l anticipated.

frustration free for little cutters!
My kids in my classroom use these with no hesitation. I was skeptical with them being plastic..they work well and easily. Plastic has it's pros..they can not cut hair!

Very difficult for a 4 year old to use
Although it’s easy for me to cut with, my 4 year old struggles with it. The paper tears and wrinkles as she tries to cut. It’s extremely frustrating for her and ruins her homework. It’s frustrating for me watching her constantly cry every time she has to cut something because it always gets ruined due to the scissor’s extremely poor performance. ItMight be better to buy metal scissors (I know, dangerous!) and supervise the child closely than to buy these and think they’ll be able to cut anything with it.

A little cheap.
I have a preschool class and a student dropped one and it broke beyond repair. So I will be looking into another brand for next year.
