Perfect size. The bevels leave a tight, consistent reveal along the edges of the grips and edges of the pistol frame. The material itself is very attractive. I think the checkering on the grips must've been cut with moon diamonds or some ultra advanced alien technology because every single tiny "pyramid" is microscopically fine, almost "sharp". Not, as in cut you "sharp",boy!, is it sticky. It kinda feels like holding the business side of rough sand paper, and practically turns your skin into velcro. Impressive craftsmanship, no doubt. In fact, due to a number of surgery scars and calluses on my hands, it started to irritate, and became uncomfortable. If you're a glove wear a glove though, they will give you amazing purchase and control. For me it was actually a little too rough, but after a bit "softening" it with a sanding pad, it was a mirror perfect match for my hand. The screws look very nice and have a rather deep "socket" for the Torx wrench to bite into, but BE CAREFUL NOT TO OVER-TIGHTEN THEM like I did on the last one after test fitting and firing a number of times. *Reminder*, if you use thread locker, it acts as a lubricant when it's wet and is easier to over-torque your gorgeous screws. And the depth of the hole for the Torx bit may enter the shaft of the screw, essentially making the top of the threaded shaft "hollow,". So as nice as they look, I would recommend buying some factory (or similar, and preferably not Chinese steel) Beretta screws which are going to be stronger and less likely to snap. Overall, the quality and value you get from these grips is highly rewarding. Way to go Cool Hands, keep 'em coming! Small note-i believe some older models of the m9/92 lack the protruding lug on the left of the hammer and might result in a week spot if the gap isn't occupied by a shim of some sort. They are slightly thinner than the factory grips. Not so much that they spoil my feel for the gun but it is certainly noticeable. If you are looking for thinner grips this would be an excellent choice. Although I have yet to shoot with them, I really like the texture. It is aggressive enough to ensure control but it is not uncomfortable. But it's easily fixed! I LOVE these grips and wish I could give them 5 stars. I'd give a 4.5 if possible. I absolutely love the way they look on my Brigadier Inox, and I love the way they feel even more. The texture is absolutely perfect! The reason I can't give a full five stars is... story time: Ok so I put these on a brand new 92, not my first one but just got this one factory NIB. Ok so I take it to the range and the slide won't lock back on an empty mag, and also won't release when I tug it rearward in "slingshot" fashion. I can use the slide stop/release to drop the slide, but no pulling back and releasing. I had installed a stainless guide rod as well, so I ended up swapping the stock one back in thinking the new one was out of spec, but no changes. So I started a Beretta warranty order to send the gun in, thinking something was wrong with it. I put the gun all back to stock and happened to do a function test with the original factory grips on it and wouldn't you know, everything works perfectly. I put these grips back on and the problem was back. It turned out the left or "driver side" grip panel was snug up against the lower portion of the slide stop, providing resistance. So the slide stop wouldn't pop up on an empty mag, and wouldn't pop down when the slide was pulled further back. SO I ended up taking a sanding bit on my Dremel to the little hollow recess at the top of the inside face of the "driver side" grip panel that sits over the lower portion of the slide stop. I took some material off from that area over the course of 30 seconds or so, and now the gun functions 100% with these grips on it. You can't see what I did when the grips are on the gun as it all took place on the inside of the grip panel. Honestly it was minimal effort and I have no regrets, I would buy these grips again for another one. I really love these grips!
