## Description

Perfect for live performance or studio recording sessions, the Carlsbro CSD400 is an 8-piece electronic mesh head drum kit with Commander 400 sound module. An exceptional value kit, all pads can be adjusted with a drum key to suit the players preferred acoustic head tension. Using a kick pad that is activated using an acoustic kick pedal ensures a very realistic feel to the playing experience. This also means that a double bass pedal can be used with this kit. This 8-Piece electronic mesh head kit comprises of the Commander 400 sound module, five mesh drum pads, kick drum, snare and three toms. Three cymbals, a single zone hi-hat, a single-zone crash and a ride cymbal with choke. This kit also features 12 user-defined drum kits, 29 preset drum kits, 358 quality percussion voices, 20 demo songs, 3-band EQ, 2 reverb settings and adjustable sensitivity and crosstalk.

Review: Quality product - from packaging, to build, to sound - I bought this after several weeks of looking at YouTube videos and reviews of mesh drum kits. I nearly bought a second hand Alesis kit but decided to treat myself with a new kit. The demo videos of the Carlsbro CSD400 seemed to have a better sound quality- and they're absolutely true. The first thing that impressed me was the clearly labelled packaging which helps you get on with putting the thing together. The assembly instructions are OK but on one of the images, they have the module on the snare arm, which is wrong. The build quality is excellent. Everything seems solid and well made. I got the kit up and running within an hour of opening the box. I have only tried listening to it through headphones - it was midnight :-) but I have to say that it sounds great. I also played along to music on my phone via the AUX input and it's easy to use the module and phone volume controls to get a decent mix. The default kits sound great but I am looking forward to creating a custom kit. The thing that impressed me on the YouTube video was some of the Tom sounds - I will add these to 'my' kit.

**Q: Can you adjust the tension on the skins?**
A: Yes, standard drum key will do it

**Q: Hallo, can you adjust the sound of the cymbals**
A: Yes you can do it on the drums brain in setting it’s very easy

**Q: Just wondering how many trigger inputs this has, is it expandable with additional pads if you want to in the future?**
A: It’s very expandable! I’ve added another cymbal and another drum to it! Cheap to do to both less than £30 including the clamps! 
It’s a great little kit definitely worth the money
