I installed the switch on the dash to the left of the fog light/cargo light simply because whoever owned the truck before me had already cut a hole there for a toggle switch. The switch wire is plenty long to be able to mount the switch remotely from the control unit. Ultra simple and easy to install. The only thing that slowed me down was peeling off the backing to adhere the switch to the dash. For me, I used a white wire near the fuse box that had power only when the truck had ignition on as opposed to using a RAP style wire.
