At first I thought it would be too small for him, but it seems to be perfect and it is very light weight so he was able to carry it easily. The packaging it came in was a little disconcerting, but the product was no harmed. He loves the eyes and my older nephew wanted one with eyes on it as well. I didn't actually see it in action but my sister gave no negative reports and I believe my nephew had fun sledding! A little too fast for my 3 year old's preference, and it is easily tipped over, but it is safe. I would probably buy the adult version next time, from the start, because there is no reason he wouldn't be able to use that, and I certainly can't use this tiny junior version.
