First off, "Amazon Choice" Reviews have once again proven to be worthless, or at best inconsistent, written by some hapless low level desk jockey who has not used the device in real life situations. I checked again and this device is no longer listed as a "Choice" and Amazon's staff review is gone, so that should tell you something. Out of the box, the device has to use it's own special charging cord, the standard cords USB cords do not work with this device because poor design has made the charging socket to deep on the device. Do you really want to worry about always having a special cord?? The accuracy starts off fair to good but then rapidly deteriorates to where the device has to constantly be re-booted. The feel and play on the buttons is horrible resulting in many miscues and malfunctions. Even with nimble fingers the WiFi passwords are difficult to enter. The unit feels cheaply made. I have tried using this device in Asia and South American, and end up reaching for my cell phone and using the free Google Translator app instead, which does not require WiFi. The unit needs a way to erase old dictated messages without erasing all entries. The ONLY good feature, is that the unit remembers old passwords so the when you return to your hotel, it searches and automatically reconnects. I can’t stress how impressed I am with this translator. It is extremely easy to setup, learn and use. It took me literally all of 30 seconds to get it up and running.It is very easy to use, and most of the phrases I gave it to translate were done correctly. And it does it all with lightning speed. The voice is very clear and easy to understand. I just wish you had a choice of voices to select from. And the list of included languages is complete and more than I will ever personally need.The size is just right to handle and carry in your pocket...smaller than most phones. It's small and easy to use. I'm a Realtor and use it to talk on the phone and in person. It does have a one minute delay for a response back and forth because of it having to translate but it's worth it.The only issues I have come across is that it didn't come with a AC charger. It only came with a USB and it will only work in my car so I have to remember to charge it before meeting a Spanish speaking client. It takes a long time to charge. It does allow you to speak in any language. The next issue is, you have to reset the WiFi upon wake-up if you turn off your Personal Hotspot or turn the machine off. It will pick-up any signal or WiFi near you to choose from. The last issue is, the thumb control for the volume will go down to off sometimes while you are talking and you don't realize it because you are pushing the dial and not realizing you are also pushing on the volume. Overall it's worth the price paid. I can go to any country and understand their language.
