After a lot of experimenting, I've figured out how to maximize its effectiveness.1) Don't wait until you get to the pool. Apply the spray at least 30 minutes beforehand.2) Spray it all over the inside and outside of the lenses and let it soak in for about 20-30 seconds. Never touch the lenses with your fingers or with a cloth of any sort.3) Rinse off the spray with luke warm tap water. (Don't use pool water!)4) Set the goggles aside and let the lenses dry. Never use a towel or cloth to clean them.5) Once the lenses are dry -- or mostly dry -- you're good to go.6) Try to avoid touching the inside or outside of the lenses at any time. (It will damage the lenses' special coating.)My only quibble with the Jaws Quick Spit is that the spray runs out pretty quickly. If you do a lot of swimming, then I would suggest purchasing a 2 pack or a 3 pack. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works really well until you touch the coating *by T***N on Reviewed in the United States on January 19, 2018* I looked at other reviews and I thought I should give it a go! I had a TYR and a Speedo goggle to see if there was any difference (there really wasn’t). As a competitive swimmer, fog is an absolute pain, especially swimming long distance events. Looking at the reviews, I cleaned my goggles and spritzed 4-6 times for each lens and made sure that the coating was all inside the goggle lens. At this stage DO NOT TOUCH THE COATING NO MATTER WHAT, otherwise it will fail and the coating will be ruined. I waited for around 8 -10 minutes and rinsed without touching the inside. I did attempt to apply the coating to the outside of the goggle, but I thought it was useless since my hands usually touch the outside of it. I tested this while swimming and at first I thought it was fogging, but after dipping my goggles in the pool water for a little bit it stayed clear which was great! In fact it lasted me for a week! However the coating does need to be reapplied often, but just make sure you do not touch the coating. Overall, I rate it a 4 because it doesn’t last long but it works pretty well! ### ⭐ Not Worth Spit! *by B***2 on Reviewed in the United States on January 28, 2019* Let me start off by saying I purchased Quick Spit for my eyeglasses (not swimming or scuba goggles) so I can only speak to its application in this context.During the cold winter months, my glasses fog up while shoveling snow or going from cold outdoors to warm indoors or the inside of a car.In the past, I have used Cat Crap as my go-to anti-fog, but I thought I would try something new with Quick Spit.....it did not work.I have tried every permutation of lens application that I can think of e.g. apply a little and let it dry and wipe off, apply a lot let it dry and wipe off, apply a little and rinse off etc. etc. etc. with little or no anti-fog abilityI did find that if you apply a little let it dry and wipe it off, but not too much (per the instructions) it kinda worked but the film it leaves behind is pretty much as bad as the fog it trying to prevent. -So you're stuck. If wipe your lenses clean it wipes off the Quick Spit and your lenses fog.
