Review: Useful tester! - This works great! The indicator LED's are labeled in tiny letters, but they read correctly and make it really easy to weed out the power-only cables in your snarled pile of USB cables. And it even comes with a couple of spare batteries!
Review: Won't test everything, but it's still worthwhile. - While not as many port options as the one from Treedix, this at least covers more than just USB 2.0 which is common with lower priced testers. It's still just a battery powered continuity tester at its core, though, so it won't test how fast a cable is capable of; that's way beyond the scope of all low-cost testers. Still, this makes easy work of identifying which of my A-to-C and C-to-C cables are full-function, which are charge-only, and which are destined for e-waste. Limited port types, yes, but this was priced better too -- and was a worthwhile tradeoff.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works fine, but it's really small and hard to read the labels

This inexpensive device does the job of validating continuity of wires. I bought it to check USB-C to USB-C cables, some of which are only for charging (ground and VBUS wires only are connected), while cables for transmitting data have more connections. This item is really small, about 2" on a side and since USB-C cables have 24 wire connections, the labelling is so small that it is hard to what the labels are without a magnifying glass. It also works to check the continuity of wires for the ubiquitous USB-C to USB-A cables that come along with devices for charging batteries.
