I bought this sewing machine for my daughter for Christmas, and she has been using it nonstop ever since. It’s surprisingly well-made for a beginner machine and feels sturdy, not flimsy at all. The stitch options are easy to understand, and she was able to start sewing pretty quickly without getting frustrated. If you’re looking for a beginner sewing machine that’s easy to use, holds up well, and doesn’t feel cheap, this is a great option.

I have had almost zero problems with this machine. Definitely recommend for a beginner that doesn't want to spend hundreds on a starter machine!! The price is perfect for the quality machine. The only issue I've had with it is a few thread jams (that were easy to fix with some trial and error) and that could definitely be user error. It even works well on canvas/denim material. Overall I totally recommend.

This is not a good buy .even for a beginner.not sturdy enough. Foot pedal does not work and the bottom spool keep jamming. They sent two ireturned the other without unpacking it. Go to next level for beginner this not a good buy. Easy to assemble it basically already setup out the box.

It came used. I thought I’d try it anyways and the battery option doesn’t work because the AA batteries don’t fit. When putting all 4 in, one pops out because there’s not enough room. Return option is only UPS or USPS. Not convenient for a disabled person. Thought I’d try this with such little reviews. Wish I had just went with a regular reliable machine for a few extra bucks. Not saving money with this one.

My daughter loves this machine. Its perfect for a beginner. Its a nice size not too small. She has been practicing and it seems to work well for her needs.

I am disappointed with this product. This machine feels cheaply made and poorly finished. The unit did not arrive in clean, new condition. There was hair on the machine and oily fingerprints on the surface. The outer packaging was open and the box was crushed. Put those details together and draw your own conclusion. A new product should not appear handled or contaminated. It feels like I was sold a used item at new item cost, with a “Friendly Reminder” in the listing meant to shield the company from accountability. The plastic manufacturing is poor, especially the purple pieces. Several edges are sharp enough to cut skin. I was scratched while handling it. A product marketed for beginners and kids should not have exposed sharp plastic. The foot pedal is inconsistent. At times I press it and nothing happens. I have to remove my foot and try again at different angles before it responds. That is concerning when a needle is involved. I am not sure whether the pedal issue is due to prior use or poor manufacturing, but either explanation raises serious concerns about quality control.

However, it struggles with larger or thicker materials, and I’ve had some issues with it jamming. That could be partly due to the thread that came with it, but it’s something to keep in mind.
