The kind witht the thread in them or jusg the disc you put on and tighten between 2 metal peices?** A: It uses the non-threaded discs, 4-1/2 inch diameter, with a 7/8 inch (arbor) center hole. You "clamp" the disc between two round pieces of metal (flanges). The tool (supplied) that you use to tighten the outer piece is unusual, it is an allen wrench that you put into a hex hole - one of 4 holes.
