Its soft, triangle-shaped grip offers superior control for delicate, precision cutting across multiple materials including paper, plastic, and thin metal. Lightweight and anti-roll, this tool is a must-have for professionals demanding accuracy and safety in every cut. ## Description Fully retractable, safe #1 knife. Soft, comfortable grip with triangle shape for extra control. Use for delicate, precision cutting, trimming and stripping. Easily cuts paper, plastic, balsa, thin metal, cloth, film and acetate. Includes #11 classic fine point blade that is easily replaceable. Anti-roll handle. Review: Just what I was looking for - Up front, it is mostly plastic and it was obvious from the description and picture. The mechanism to move the blade in and out is plastic as well as the outer tube. The blade holder, however, is metal which is a big plus there. The reason I chose this one was that it uses #11 xacto blades which I have some and can get them pretty much anywhere. I keep this in my pencil holder by my chair. I'm not a crafty person, but it's good for light weight cutting. Cutting paper, opening/breaking down boxes, opening blister packs, removing warning labels from electrical cords that tell you not to put it in water or do other stupid things with it (duh), etc. Certainly a good value for the cost. Review: Best xacto holder you will ever use. - I had one of this for 13 years and it finally broke. Ordered a replacement without ever second guessing it. Very comfortable and since erhe blad retracts 100%, it's very safe and easy to store. It's about the thickness of a large sharpie marker for comparison. ## Features - Fully retractable, safe #1 knife. - Soft, comfort grip with triangle shape for extra control. - Use for delicate, precision cutting, trimming and stripping. - Easily cuts paper, plastic, balsa, thin metal, cloth, film and acetate. - Includes #11 classic fine point blade that is easily replaceable. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B007XZTC90 | | Best Sellers Rank | #29,592 in Office Products ( See Top 100 in Office Products ) #18 in Paper Trimmer Blades | | Blade Material | Metal | | Brand | X-Acto | | Brand Name | X-Acto | | Color | Blue | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 837 Reviews | | EU Spare Part Availability Duration | 1 years | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00079946032048 | | Handle Material | Metal | | Handle Type | Manual-Retractable | | Included Components | Utility Knife | | Item Length | 8.75 inches | | Item Type Name | Utility Knife | | Item Weight | 0.02 kg | | Manufacturer | X-ACTO | | Manufacturer Part Number | X3204 | | Material | Metal | | Material Type | Metal | | Model Number | X3204 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Product Style | Casual | | UPC | 012300688864 079946032048 799460320482 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Blade Material:** Metal - **Brand:** X-Acto - **Color:** Blue - **EU Spare Part Availability Duration:** 1 years - **Handle Material:** Metal - **Item Length:** 8.75 inches - **Item Weight:** 0.02 kg - **Material:** Metal - **Style:** Casual - **Unit Count:** 1 Count ## Images ![X-ACTO Retract-A-Blade Knife, #11, 5.25" Plastic Handle, Blue/Black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41Ar4Sv8nqL.jpg) ![X-ACTO Retract-A-Blade Knife, #11, 5.25" Plastic Handle, Blue/Black - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61oUESZNdzL.jpg) ![X-ACTO Retract-A-Blade Knife, #11, 5.25" Plastic Handle, Blue/Black - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51t451FlSnL.jpg) ![X-ACTO Retract-A-Blade Knife, #11, 5.25" Plastic Handle, Blue/Black - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61i+VLjC6-L.jpg) ![X-ACTO Retract-A-Blade Knife, #11, 5.25" Plastic Handle, Blue/Black - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51b6NY7e9IL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just what I was looking for *by T***C on July 24, 2019* Up front, it is mostly plastic and it was obvious from the description and picture.
