It's convenient in every way possible, easy to clean because of the nonstick interior, and easy to store because of it's compact size. Waffles take an average of five minutes or less the more of them you cook in one session. And they cook very thoroughly. However, we've noticed that on the first few waffles made they tend to turn out very flat/rubberizied despite using the same recipe every time so just beware not to consume those when cooking. As of posting this review I have no idea why this is the case hence a reduction of one star from the review. If all of the Waffles were consistent then this would have been five stars. Also those who are very mindful of using products made with banned chemicals/materials in California, note that this product despite advertising itself as free of those still uses them for smaller/minor parts of the electrical/outer hardware and NOT THE INTERIOR where the waffles are made. Because of Califronia's laws, even the smallest traces of these chemicals/materials MUST be listed so keep that in mind. Overall a great addition for a kitchen.
