Hitachi 1.5 Ton 5 Star Window AC (RAW518KUD New Kaze Plus White)

Product is good. Noise levels are ok. Cools very fast. Happy with the purchase.But installation is terrible. I am writing about Kolkata guys. They charged me 3200/-. The material they used doesn't cost more than 150 rs. If you are planning to buy window ac, get the frame work done before hand by some local carpenter. It won't cost more than 700 rs, for which they are charging 3200. Out of this amount Hitachi authorised charges were only 550/-, so it is not the fault of Hitachi. Be informed and don't get cheated.

I was so in love with my previous Hitachi 1.5 ton AC that I picked this one up without any research. It is HORRIFIC!The fan is really powerful and noisy - it blows hard even at the lowest setting. The filters need to be cleaned every 4 days.The cooling is PATHETIC. I keep dropping the temperature and the AC does the same amount of cooling 23 degrees and 26 degrees feel pretty much the same. You sit sweating in the room while this monster roars its fan and follows some weird algorithm that simply refuses to cool especially when it's hot. When it’s cool outside the compressor seems to go on overdrive even when the AC set at 26 degrees, till you feel a chill. I will never recommend a Hitachi AC to anyone ever again.

Hitachi 5 star 1.5 ton is providing very good cooling product ,it is 3 mode of operation provide to come into low noise level.but cooling is excellent BUT I am unhappy of amazon service bcz I ordered Model 518 KUD Model but received 518 KUDZ1 Model that was Rs.800 less from 518 KUD Model on amazon site,I complained but no response ,if this type happen then U order 518 KUDZ1 which is less costly but service Good.no more difference than 518 KUD.

It was supposed to visit on 21st July, 2020 but delivered well ahead on 17th July, 2020. Delivery was very fast. I have been testing it since then and found to be noisy and it creates an unpleasant sound/noise when compressor runs. I think some technician should visit to rectify this problem or replacement of product

There is No Hitachi or Haeir or Diakin dedicated service centre in North India.Numbers given by Amazon are invalid .You depend on multibrand or locals for Any service component replacements are HELL

Don't buy this ac key points are they don't have a good servicing. Second ac won't even work for 2 season properly. And they don't provide any free service for same and you can't even reach the customer care executive they won't pick your calls. Makes noice. Highly disappointed. And specially they will charge you extra for service demand or gas refill that to in 1 season

Works fine. Cools quietly. This is a second unit we have. Happy with both.
