They look exactly as shown, right down to the bright grey grout. I suppose I expected the grout to be at least to look sort of like grout. Just plain, flat, grey vinyl. The "tiles" look like photographs. Test ran one piece in my kitchen between new and old paint. Top began peeling down within 12 hours. The picture is 24 hours later. I ended up having to use spray adhesive to keep them stuck. Disappointed but liked the color combo. Tough to cut without a straight edge & heavy utility knife.
