I would recommend ironing it before putting it on as it is very wrinkled when first taken out of the packaging (to be expected) I got it in the color ivory and it’s a nice creamy color. You may need some help getting it on because the mattress will just slide it around unless you have someone to help you lift the mattress on. My husband and I had no issues doing it together thought. The material is a little bit thin but I think it looks fine once on the bed you can’t really see through it at all.
