Unicity Balance for Cholesterol 60 packets-15 oz Packets(Replaces Bios Life Slim®)

I was told that this needs to be used with another product that is not for sale here.

I am 55 years old with Hypoglycemia and lost 38lbs and 5 inches off my waist in 3-1/2 months without buying expensive pre-packaged food. I eat what I have always eaten, just less of it because I am not as hungry. The Doctor that recommended this told me at his practice there was a lot of folks that had lost 70-100 lbs over time. With Low Blood Sugar you always have spikes and lows with your blood sugar after meals, I eat a low carbohydrate diet to help that but this has stopped the spikes, I have not felt this good in decades, I need to buy a lifetime supply incase they stop making it or change it. I drink down a disposable water bottle a couple inches add the mix shake vigorously and drink it at least 30 minutes before I eat, 45minutes to an hour is even better or chasing the mix with more water. It will curb your hunger or cravings. My Doc told me to lose the most weight do this before all three meals, when I get closer to my goal dot it lunch and supper and as a maintenance when I am down to my goal weight just do before supper. He said most over weight people are habitual eaters, they eat even when they are not hungry, and I noticed that in the evening I was not hungry but would reach for something when I went thru the kitchen. I really have not felt this good in decades and it amazes me that other reviews said something about the taste, they probably did not shake it up enough or had shaker too full of water, but who cares, this is not Bluebell Ice Cream, if you want to stay fat and die young and somebody else raise your kids, then don't buy it.

I'm back to using Unicity's (BiosLife) Balance for Cholesterol after getting away from it for a number of years. It was very successful for me then. I'm sure it will be a big help now after a few months of use.It is a great alternative or adjunct to statins! Easy to use...love(!) it in Orange Juice, Ice Tea, or Lemonade, and perfectly ok in plain old water!

During a medical examine for additional life insurance I found out my LDL Cholesterol was 124 and my blood pressure was elevated, 138/92.This of course resulted in a higher premium quote. My doctor advised me that this could take up to 6 months to get under control with proper diet, excersise and medication. My insurance agent suggested that I try this product before taking any medication which could permanently affect my medical history.My wife already had shaker bottles for mixing powdered drinks which I recommend using with this product. After 35 days I had fantastic results, LDL dropped to 103, blood pressure completely normal and as a big bonus I lost 15 pounds without any additonal life style changes other than changing up my diet a little bit (no more ice cream before bed). I didn't mind the taste and after several days I looked forward to taking it.

This drink is very helpful for cholesterol support, according to my OB/GYN. I will admit this drink helps me feel more full with less cravings. The drink tastes like orange cream. It doesn't dissolve very easily, so I recommend shaking the mixture in a bottle as opposed to with a spoon in a cup. Only negative feedback for me is the price. My OB recommended this drink twice a day to aid my PCOS symptoms. Almost $90 for one month supply of such a request is pretty steep. It does help me keep excess weight off, but doesn't exactly help me lose weight.

I didn't lose one ounce. I only take it once a day for two reasons. First, it is ridiculously expensive. Second, the high amount of B vitamins it contains made me feel like I was overly caffeinated & kept me awake. Vitamin B6 has diuretic effects, so I'm guessing a lot of ppl's weight loss is loss of water weight. Saying all that, I still give it 3 stars because I had blood work done after using one unicity & one dose of Metamucil daily for 2 months and my total cholesterol dropped 30 points & my HDL (the good stuff) increased from 35 to 41. I will probably use 2 doses of Metamucil each day for awhile then order another box of unicity in the spring. While I appreciate there needs to be a profit, unicity is $85 for 60 doses & meijer brand Metamucil is $11 for 114 doses. Wow!

Really helps level blood sugar. Definitely takes away shakiness. I won’t go without this product. I’ve been taking off an on for a year and a half. I would get shaky after breakfast every morning. As long as I take this as shakiness stops. I Can’t imagine not having it on hand! Before, I was always trying to eat something else to stop the week shaking feeling I got. I was taking this for blood sugar and shakiness. But it’s accidentally help me lose weight. I’m not constantly looking for a snack to stop me from shaking anymore. Great Product!!

The first box I just ordered had an expiration date of November ‘17 so I’m sending it back but in the meantime ordered a second box that I’ve received but it cost me $25 more. I’ve used this product in the past and it most definitely helped me lower my cholesterol dramatically so I personally recommend it.
