It has a very sturdy base, holds up to everyday wear, but the soles inside the shoes do not. The liner on the inside of the shoes peeled off and the sole bunches up in the toe area. Seems to need more glue and/or thicker material for the inside of the shoe. The shoe was easy to break in, no blisters right out of the box.
