The straws are covered with a plastic paper wrap and not a cheap paper wrap, saving you from too much trouble if the straws somehow got wet. This product works great for a home, restaurant, or cafe! I received the 16 ounce cups and the quality is really great. The cups are thick. The lids fit perfectly. The straws are phenomenal quality with an angled side, making it easy to puncture the lid. Definitely recommend and will be re ordering. These are Great for home. shakes and iced coffees, and the price is extremely cost effective, considering the quality.
