It does a great job shredding plastic cards, such as credit cards, so I can dispose of these expired cards in a secure way. Staples are not a problem either. Other shredders I’ve used jam easily but this one does a good job of shredding the pages, even if these are not feed in straight, without jamming. It has a safety feature that turns the shredder off when it gets too warm, and I’ve found that I can feed a couple of dozen pages continuously before it starts getting warm.
