First Day of School Chalkboard | Back to School Sign for 1st Day of School Stats | Milestone Photo Prop

I'm so excited to use this board for our first day of Kindergarten pictures. The board is sturdy, adorable, and easy to read.

Yey! Got here before expected and I was getting really worried because I had other items expected delivery that went out of stock that didn't arrive in time. It also worked great with the gator liquid chalk I bought. Made a few mistakes and it wiped out well with water. The chalk board is smooth not too grainy. I'm not sure how well it'll wipe after being on your a while but definitely great purchase for the begining of a great tradition.

This is an updated reviewed.I first purchased this product in 2018, and was extremely disappointed that the product did not wipe off as claimed and gave the product 2 stars at the time. I used Liquid chalkmarkers from Amazon, and used a baby wipe (as the seller states in comments) to wipe off, but you could see the words clearly (as in the picture).The seller contacted me this year, stating the product I received was a counterfeit and if I would like to try their product again. I said yes, and they sent me a replacement board free of charge. The new product looks similar to the old one I received last year, but the finish is different. The new (not counterfeit) board has a mate/glossy finish as opposed to the old one which did not have the same finish. I tested wiping one of these words as well (tacos), and it was much better than the counterfeit board - you can still the words faintly in certain angles but it doesn't show in picture unless you zoom in on the area.I am pleased with the new board. Not giving it 5 stars because there is still some residue left, but I don't know if there are boards that wipe off 100%.

This was a gift for my granddaughter starting preschool. I didn’t personally use it but my daughter in law said amazing

Liquid chalk does not erase! Only one time use and dont mess up! I was planning on using it for both of my kids and tried everything to erase with no luck. Very disappointed.

This board was perfect for my son’s first day back to school, working perfectly with chalk markers. I will say though, that the only way I could clean the board without any residue or marks left behind was with a Magic Eraser.

This board is very cute but if you use liquid chalk on it and don't wipe it off immediately it will be stained and therefore a 1 time use board. I did test a small area with the liquid chalk markers as instructed and it did clear off bu t once the markers sit overnight as I made my daughter's sign the night before, they no longer wipe off and the lettering is then permanent. The description for this board even says "markers sold separately" leading one to erroneously believe that you can use markers.

Overall the product was pretty accurate to what was described in the product description and images provided. However, I did find that it didn't wash the chalkboard markers off as well as I hoped. Also, it seemed a bit smaller than I intended it to be.
