Yup, these are dope.
Hmm, so I needed some all-purpose gloves for the gym.At first,I was gonna go with some boxing or martial arts-centric types, but spotted these. The price and design seemed to suit my fancy, so I bit.And I must say that they fit the bill nicely. These puppies arrived promptly, and after only a few seconds with them on, I was in love. They come highly recommended now, as well, as I've worked them vigorously doing knuckle pushups and hours of heavy bag time.Again, for my needs I wanted all-purpose, and these are pretty much exactly that. One thing I love, too, are those wrist straps; they're extremely comfy and seem made to last.Did I mention that these are some sexy ass gloves, too? I like to look like I know what the hell I'm doing in the gym (I don't) and these add a bit of knowledge to my blood, sweat, and tears. So, yeah.I love these babies and will probably buy another pair as soon as my knuckles start showing through- takes about a year. But will these gloves last longer? We shall see.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.And I wasn't paid to write that.Unfortunately.UPDATEHmm, it's been a few months and during my last workout I noticed the fabric beginning to seperate between the thum and index on both gloves. Good thing they offer a one-year warranty. May have to order a new pair, though, cause I simply can't work out anymore with them.

Better than average
I got the gloves last week and I had the opportunity to try them for several WODs. I have been looking for specific gloves for my workouts as I do both crossfit and bootcamp. So I wanted all star gloves and bought these based on the good reviews here. Now, are they bettter than the other types I have purchased previously? I see pros and cons as follows:Better: Wrist support. I can feel the support in my wrist for things like squats with bars and even when using the rope for pulls up, slams, kettle bells, etcI also like the breatheable material as it helps but they do still get a bit wet regardless. No difference: standard pull ups... Initially I see better support mainly on the wrists, but They are only a small improvement from my regular gloves. While they are leather coated If I am doing more than 10 pull ups on a set, they are the same as my Habinger gloves as they also get uncomfortable from gripping. So no such a thing as still preventing calluses with this nordic pair.Wishful thinking: the gloves would be a star if they could cover up the fingers above the hand calluses area and the coating also after repping actually gets in the way with the bar pull ups.In the end they are a bit better than average and I am going to keep them for wrist support mainly, but I will continue to search for those gloves to improve gripping on bars for sets over 10, which in my case it is quiet the case.

Generally Reliable: worth the price.
After testing out the Nordic Lifting gloves for a week, here are my findings:Pros: The gloves fit nicely. I feel as if the aren't too tight around my fingers. The leather on the palm seems strong one week in and they breathe nicely. The wraps provide a decent amount of support on my wrists (note I have generally weak or injured wrists so this could be my bias).Cons: Personally I feel as if the fabric on my wrist is irritating. It's a tad itchy when tightly wrapped and it tends to want to curl a bit leaving pressure marks on my skin.General exercises I've used: barbell curls, barbell squats, flys, cable cross overs, bench press, smith machine inclined press, chin ups, back flys, preacher curls, reverse preacher curls, triceps extension...

Excellent gloves - high quality, workmanship and material
I bought these gloves based on positive feedback from other users and my feedback is below. These gloves are absolutely fantastic - I love them. The workmanship and the quality of the gloves are exemplary. The wrist support is phenomenal as well. I have used them now for 2 weeks and if I go back to wearing my old gloves, they literally feel like linen when compared to this pair.An area of improvement would be some additional support or padding on the palm. I felt the pressure when doing pull-ups. And that is the only reason for a 4-star rating. Otherwise, this pair would have earned a 5-star from me.I had bought the medium size gloves and knowingly reduced the size by one though I normally wear "L" for other gloves. I anticipated a lose fit for "L" and I expected the gloves to expand with use because of the material and I was right. The gloves fit are pretty snug right now. But again, that is just a personal preference for me.I highly recommend these gloves and I was definitely not disappointed and am very happy with their performance.

Good quality glove.
Good quality glove. Like the extra length on the fingers compared to the Harbinger I've been able to buy the past few years. The size is truly what it claims to be unlike the Harbinger's I bought just a few weeks ago which I had to give away. I was concerned at first by the smoothness of the leather on the palm for use with kettlebells, however, that's proven to not be a problem. I'm not rating it 5 star because I'm finding a slight irritation at the base of the fingers on one hand but anticipate the gloves breaking in more as that part is leather.

Great quality so far
Bought these for use in the gym, to avoid developing calluses from free weights. Great quality so far, pictures are accurate as to color (bought the navy blue). They do smell strongly when you first take them out of the package, though it goes away with time. Wrist straps are helpful and secure strongly, good range of size. I measured 7.0", so between XS and S, went for the XS. They fit well, though they do take a bit of a pull to get on and off. Interestingly, the finger holes seem a little wide- maybe I have narrow fingers, YMMV. This hasn't caused any problems so far. One thing to be aware of- the length of the finger parts of the glove do mean that you will likely still develop calluses along the joints/knuckles, as the glove cuts right before the knuckle. (However, this is obviously true of any non full-fingered glove)
