You cannot record from cassette to CD. Direction leaflet gives very easy instructions. **Q: Does it contain AC power plug ?** A: If that is a plug for the wall, the answer is yes!! FYI I listen to a lot of books on cd on this machine and the reason i like it for that is because if it's left for awhile still on, it retains the minutes and seconds where you left it, even in the middle of a track.
