Its just the pictures that are a bit deceiving. My 18 month old and 3 year old use this pool together. Its the perfect size for them to just have a little splash in the afternoon. Throw some balls or toys in there and you kid or pet is set! You could def also use this for bathing some animals actually. Anyway, its functional, well priced, and easy to store. Mine has held up well but if not taken cared of correctly, I could def pop or get slashed. I take the air out after every use and fold it small after its dried then store on a rack

**Q: Hello, I purchsed a few of these pools recently and I want to use one for a ball pit. For those of you who use this pool as a ball pit how many balls do you think I need to purchase?**
A: As a matter of fact, I purchased this originally as a ball pit for my son. 200 balls fills it up about half way. 300 may be a little more than what you need, but it should fill it up near the top if you do. I didn't go higher than 200 because of the nature of what kids will do in it, displacement is inevitable.

**Q: How many gallons of water does this hold?**
A: about 45 gallons

**Q: Could an 8 month old climb over the side?**
A: Possibly yes when filled with water they can easily just push down on the sides and possibly get over. It's just a simple small blow up pool.

**Q: Is there a plug on the floor of the pool for easy drainage of water?**
A: No. There is not a bottom drain plug. The bottom is only a thin layer of vinyl. Nice pool though, easy to lift and drain water out.
