Other ones have come out uneven, were difficult to spray properly and evenly and looked terrible even after washing. We are both very light and fair skinned and this Norvell Venetian solution comes out looking like a very natural looking dark and tan color. It fades very evenly and does not look blotchy and ugly like most other spray tanning solutions have looked once they start to fade. The spray tan lasts very well (between 5-8 days for us) as long as you apply a moisturizer a couple times a day and keep your skin hydrated. We re-spray every 7 days typically and that works well for us. Always exfoliate and scrub off old solution well enough. Also take short, cool showers after spraying and it will last longer. The solution dries almost instantly after spraying and does not leave your skin feeling sticky and uncomfortable for hours after your spray like most other spray tanning solutions in the past have done. The smell is a tropical/coconut scent while being sprayed and does not have a scent or odor after being sprayed/showering. We use anywhere from 1.5-2.5 ounces depending on how dark we want our tans to be. The more solution or the more coats you apply, the darker your tan will be. A spray tan will amplify any abnormalities in the skin. Healthy, freshly exfoliated skin tans the best. Spray tan products vary in thickness. If you have a thinner solution, turn down the spray gun and a thicker lotion needs a more open nozzle. Before every tan, exfoliate with a good exfoliator.
