It has a pleasant smell from the bottle However, both myself and my wife agree that it makes no difference to the laundry. The softness of the laundy items is unchanged as well as their smell, they are as fresh as if the scent booster had not been added. We have used it four times so far, following exactly the instructions and we wanted it to make a difference but it just doesn't.
