Review: Excellent LONG reach telescoping window cleaning pole - This 30 foot telescoping pole is awesome! It reaches to the highest points of my house. I needed it to be able to wash the windows, but also needed to knock down a hornets nest that was at the peak of the highest point of my roof. I was able to reach it easily to knock it down! (Did in the winter freezing day and was safe.) The pole requries a lot of control when fully extended. When extended to 20 feet it is very easily managed to reach windows.

My home is about 35 feet tall at the peak and a I needed something to reach the cobwebs that form on the stucco using a Starmax Webster cobweb brush. Before this, I had used a 25 foot and an 8 foot pole that I put together, but this Unger pole makes it much easier. Pretty stable and not too heavy or flexible what I use if for. It does flex quite a bit at full extension but still easy to control and manage.

**Q: What is the total length when closed? I'm guessing it's longer than 6' when each section's locking mechanism is added.**
A: Total closed length comes to 7' 6 1/8"

**Q: Weightwhat is the total weight of the pole?**
A: Sorry but the AMAZON seller and shipper Sho let  for the AMAZON order twice disappointed with NOT completing the order for the advertised Amazon listed price.. so I never received this item and can NOT review 
As for each order on AMAZON from seller Shoplet the item had a large delay from the estimated shipping date presented on my AMAZON order at time of purchase. 
Each time I tried to purchase this item from Shoplet on Amazon the order was very late and required that I the buyer had to request thru AMAZON a refund or replacement for the missing item. 
And each time this seller Shoplet responded that the item was damaged via shipping carrier and that I can reorder :…yet each time the Seller Shoplet had raised the price  on AMAZON after the purchase date :

A: I don't have a caliper to make those measurements. It's possible if you went to the manufacturers website you might be able to get that Data from the specification sheet.

This 30 foot telescoping pole is awesome! It reaches to the highest points of my house. I needed it to be able to wash the windows, but also needed to knock down a hornets nest that was at the peak of the highest point of my roof. I was able to reach it easily to knock it down! I bought this extendable pole to shake heavy snow off a ham radio antenna. Heavy snow collapsed one antenna and it took me weeks and over $1000 to get it fixed. Now, all I need to do is climb a short ladder and hook it on. You can buy a hook for it, or a cheap paint roller will do. The pole itself is well made and it's light enough that I can hold it extended at a 45-degree angle from the top of a ladder. The final section is a little too floppy for this use, but I don't need to extend it all the way. Photo shows the antenna being put into place. It's a MAJOR operation.
