So I Googled "portable chairs", assuming I was going to settle with a collapsible triangle chair. Then, the SitGo popped up. It was a little pricier than a triangle chair, but I bought one due to it's compacting ability and it's coolness factor. As far as usability, it sets up quick and is extremely durable. It had no problem whatsoever supporting my 200# frame. Of course a camping chair would probably be more comfortable if you're planning on sitting for a long time, but if you are line waiting, this does the job very well. Your butt does get numb if sitting in one position for an extended time, say 20 minutes or so, but to counteract that I just changed seating heights, and it helped. As far as the compacting: It fit perfectly in my backpack's water bottle holder, and weighs a little more than a full bottle of water. That was my second favorite part of the SitGo. My favorite part of owning a SitGo is the coolness and uniqueness factor. So many heads were turned when I broke it out and sat on it. Making me feel like I was cool, modern, and hip to new technology. I even let a girl waiting in line with me use it for a bit, and she was so grateful. Score! My only negative thing to say is I never received a return email from the company after sending a request to buy wholesale. As a reseller, I thought it would be a great product to sell at conventions. That being said, it doesn't have anything to do with the accurately described, well built product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars It’s good, but lacking in a couple spots.. *by C***B on Reviewed in the United States on October 2, 2022* Price was okay, color is great, ease to put β€œup”, but after three or four uses while on a day trip at a cruise ship port, it was stuck and I had to have help getting it apart and slid into itself. The grommet in the end of it came off and had to be put back on, a couple of times. Hauling it around at port added a lot of extra weight. At first I didn’t think so but after taking it out and hand carrying it, my backpack was a LOT lighter. All that being said, I was very grateful to have a portable chair!! I really like that you can adjust it to varying heights. It was comfy for being a one legged stool/lean to. Overall I’d buy it again, but someone else will have to carry it or other crap that was in the backpack. ;) ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars The videos don't demonstrate how noisy this is *by I***N on Reviewed in the United States on February 19, 2024* I like the strength of the stool. However I don't like the clanky sound it makes when deploying and stowing it. Having the carabiner hook attached also contributes to the noise like it were a wooden bell. It also takes more time to set up than a typical short tripod stool.
