Some other reviews say they're not leak proof, which I also experienced on first use. But then I realised after washing that the seal wasn't connected properly, it's a bit fiddly but once it was all put together correctly it worked really well. They are more like a bottle as they require baby to suck, so good for bottle to cup transition. I agree that it's a bit cumbersome with the lid still attached, but overall happy.
