However, wind is given as true north so the first thing you need to do is change it to magnetic by subtracting the magnetic variation. I gave up on the CX-3 and went back to my whiz wheel. **Q: Can this asa cx-3 flight computer be used on the faa private pilot knowledge exam?** A: Yes, you can use it on the knowledge exam. **Q: I’m having a problem. Daytime mode looks a bit cloudy . Dark splotches and bright points . Is that normal ?** A: Yes.
