I started taking it to improve my microbiome after I scored poorly on the Zoe microbiome test. I did not have any bowel or bloating issues before taking Symprove but I did have poor skin (acne, eczema) and was getting ill with colds and sick bugs quite regularly. After taking Symprove, the most striking thing has been how rarely I get ill despite having 4 small kids! I haven’t caught the sick bugs that they have had (my husband has caught them) and on the rare occasions that I have caught a cold it has only been about 20% as bad as a normal cold would be. I also redid my gut health test with Zoe and the diversity of my microbiome had significantly improved. My skin is almost always clear now too. I highly recommend Symprove. Review: Definitely not cheap, but is one of the few things that has made a significant difference - I have a couple of underlying chronic conditions, both of which can impact my bowels. However, I found myself feeling especially terrible, with a lot of bloating and digestive distress, after a stay in hospital when I had been given a course of two antibiotics at the same time - shortly afterwards I diagnosed with IBS and as suffering from candida overgrowth, possibly linked to the antibiotic treatment. Over the course of a decade I tried numerous different interventions including taking well-known brands of probiotics over a long period of time, prebiotics, anti-candida treatments, moving to a ketogenic diet and modifying my exercise routine.
