Review: The best budget Intel alternative if you don't want Amd Ryzen - Pros : 1. Over 50 fps avg at medium-high settings at 1366x768 in most games I play like MGS5, Hitman 2016 etc. 2. Hyperthreading present in all Kabylake (7 gen) Pentium CPUs. 3. Works on older Z170, B150 & H110 boards that have updated BIOS dated atleast 16 Dec 2016 for Kabylake compatibility. 4. Compared to an i3, the price-to-performance ratio is unbeatable. 5. All Kaby Pentiums now have hardware based OS guard. Poke around your board's UEFI to lock down securely. Cons : 1. Just dual core. During heavy multitasking/ 3D rendering/ games with lots of NPCs & heavy multiplayers/ video encoding etc it'll be slower than a true quad core. 2. AVX absent. 3. Stock cooler feels flimsy. But this is because the CPU is more energy efficient = less heat produced. Also the thermal paste on the cooler is not protected with plastic film. I guess Intel wants to go environment friendly :) 4. Intel boards are costlier than AMD's for the same or less features as usual. Conclusion : The best featured Pentium from Intel as of date. Note : 1. Hyperthreading in a dual core CPU = CPU reads 4 threads (instructions) in one go then automatically decides which threads require higher priority & executes two threads at a time. However in true quad cores, all 4 instructions will be executed in one go. Hyperthreading is more about increasing efficiency of CPU cores. 2. AVX = used for hardware acceleration in say heavy mathematical calculations, 3D rendering etc. 3. Turbo mode = CPU will temporarily increase beyond stock speed during heavy workload. 4. Virtualisation VT = Enables you to run a Windows/ Android/ Linux OS like any program in your default OS. 5. BIOS for Skylake series boards should atleast be updated till 16 Dec 2016 else all Kabylake CPUs won't even boot into BIOS. You'll need a Skylake CPU to update first before using Kabylake. However if you don't want such hassles then get the newer & costlier B250/ Z270 board (There's no so called entry level H210) or any Skylake board (H110, B150, Z170) of your choice manufactured atleast from Jan 2017 (That guarantees that the board has factory updated BIOS for Kabylake compatibility straight out of the box). 6. For computer newbies - CPU = brain, cores = parts of the brain. 7. Hardware alone is not the sole benchmark. Poorly coded programs will run like shit even on multi core CPUs. 8. Fps would dip below 50 sometimes in intense multiplayer & heavy NPC maps at 1080p medium-high settings but no stuttering observed on my end so far. Future CPU demanding games will likely stress the G4560 more. Kindly reduce resolution + graphical settings if unplayable. 9. Paid 4800/- (220 as tax) on desertcart. MRP on box was 7000/- . Clueless as it is about $64.
Review: cost is high - gud processor but you need graphic card for better performance

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Unbeatable performance for the price
*by T***R on 7 May 2017*

What a product. Wow! Definitely my best buy of the year. Was about to go for the i5 7400 but later decided for this chip after researching it's capabilities(3ghz clock with 3mb cache), first hyper threading Pentium chip since Pentium 4. I've added a hyperX 16gb 2133ghz in dual channel (G4560 supports DDR4-2133/2400, DDR3L-1333/1600 @ 1.35V, upto 64 GB ram), a WD Black 250gb m.2 nvme ssd. No bottlenecks. I paired this chip with the Asus prime b250 mobo in a Corsair air 240 case. The Graphics is fuelled by the Asus Nvidia GTX 1050ti 4gb card. My windows 10 tasks are blazing fast. This chip is even great for moderate to heavy gaming with an acceptable playable frame rate range 49-99 fps with the latest games like GTA5, TOMB RAIDER, WITCHER 3, GHOST RECON WILDLANDS, FORTNITE, DIABLO3, PUBG, BATTLEFIELD 1 , CALL OF DUTY, ETC. PUBG GAVE THE MAX STRAIN TO THE CPU & GPU CHIPS AS IT NEEDED MORE CPU THREADS & CUDA CORES. This is the cheapest (₹4500-5000)hyperthreading chip (a true performer) you can buy in 2017 & 2018. Go for it. *2018 MAY UPDATE: THIS CHIP STILL ROCKS...GREAT FOR BUDGET GAMING & MILD MULTITASKING.
