When I applied a thin coat of paint on top of the Sakura oil pastels, the result was amazing. Whereas the other brand faded away. I cannot emphasize how happy I am with the Sakura oil pastels. I will be buying Sakura's other colors now and making Sakura a permanent part of my stock of art supplies. The quality is excellent. I would highly recommend.
