The A045H047W Membrane Filter is a 47mm diameter sterile mixed cellulose esters (MCE) membrane designed for microbiological testing in water, pharmaceuticals, food, and air monitoring. Featuring a gridded surface with 3.1mm squares for precise colony counting, it is ethylene oxide sterilized and Triton-free to ensure high purity and recovery rates. Packaged individually or in multipacks with pleated band options, it complies with ASTM and Standard Methods for water and wastewater analysis, backed by rigorous quality control and lot traceability.

## Description

Mixed Cellulose Esters (MCE) membrane is a general purpose filter used in many applications for the microbiological examination of water, wastewater, pharmaceuticals, food, and beverages and air monitoring. MCE membranes offer high recovery rates and superior flow rates. Advantec MCE membranes are high purity and Triton-free. Contrasting grid lines facilitate counting colonies and are tested to assure freedom from grid line inhibition. 3.1mm squares represent 1/100 of the filtration area of a 47mm diameter filter (9.6cm2). Membranes are sterilized by ethylene oxide (EtO) gas and are available individually wrapped or in 10-pack envelopes. Membrane specifications and lot number are printed on clear cover of each filter. Advantec's continuous pleated band packaging is compatible with various membrane dispensers. Advantec membranes were developed and are manufactured to comply with the ASTM and the Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater. Quality control tests are performed on each lot and QA Certificates are available
