The speed selector is in a good position and doesn’t get knocked when I’m using it. It’s worth noting that the motor takes a few seconds to speed up to the selected speed - I’m guessing - or hoping - that ‘soft start’ will improve the life of the motor. Has loads of useful accessories with it, which seem to be great quality so far, and I have been using the flexible extension to allow greater control working on delicate items or in recesses and hard to reach areas. I went though 3 before finally getting one that could sand without breaking up.
