Works with plenty of apps, gives accurate readings.
I initially had some trouble getting this to work, it didn't seem to want to pair directly to my mobile as a Bluetooth device. The instructions supplied are quite poor, they suggest apps that it will work with but the information is not detailed. After a bit of hunting around I downloaded Wahoo Fitness. This seems to be a pretty powerful app, which can be set up for running, cycling and other sports. It was able to identify and pair with the heart rate belt quickly and the app also makes use of the phone's GPS system so logs rides and runs in the same way as, for example, Strava. It records real time heart rates and provides information such as heart training zones (for cardio and fat burn for example). I also found that Strava could find and use the belt, though not at the same time as when the Wahoo app was running. The belt itself is a tad bulky under the clothing, but quite comfortable. There are a couple of pads on the skin side, which have to be dampened to get a good contact, I found without doing this I couldn't get a reading. But once working, it seemed to be accurate, and changes in heart rate are very quickly picked up by the app.Unfortunately my Garmin is a basic model and doesn't use ANT+ which is a shame. I would have loved to have used this belt with it and may well look at getting something a bit more powerful for when I'm riding. For now I'll probably use it mainly with Strava to add a little more detail to my cycle ride data.Overall a good belt, and whilst the instructions could do with being a bit more informative, the fact it works with a variety of apps makes it very versatile.

Maybe recommended now.
Worked a bit on the first day, has not worked since despite being connected to the iPhone. It’s cheap for a reason. Have tried it several times since I wrote this. Still no luck.UPDATE- have just downloaded WAHOO APP, and heart rate is being picked up. Just doesn’t want to talk to iPhone perhaps. Just found this out so will update in a few weeks and let you know what’s happening.

Very good for cycling & works with Strava and Zwift.
I use this for cycling outside and indoors, have no issues connecting to my iPhone/Strava or Zwift on my laptop. So far seems very accurate no issues with the actual product. Just make sure you wet the sensors and have it on your chest so you can connect to it. Also note you can only connect it to 1 device at a time (as expected) because it’s bluetooth. :)

Won't run when phone is sleeping
It's good for the price you pay and tracks well just won't continuesly track when the phone is on sleep mode.

works great with Concept2 rower
Bought to work with a Concept2 rowing machine, not listed as a compatible HR monitor but it works brilliantly and was easily paired. Check comms specs but mine works fine and was great value for money

Very Poor - won't bluetooth connect
1 in 20 chance of it being found via Bluetooth on my Android phone and on the rare chance it is found it simply won't 'pair'. Poor piece of kit and I intend on sending it straight back to Amazon

Flimsy strap, unit not working
Strap v flimsy (at fastener) and uncomfortable. I’m a 40” chest and the thing was nasty when I tried running. Not that it would connect to my iPhone or Tomtom watch.Send back for refund.
