Some mornings, cooking grits for a 1/2 hour is just too long for some members of my family. (Yes, I do old school grits as well). These are creamy, like old school grits properly cooked, and don't have the somewhat gritty texture of the Quaker Quick Grits. And they DO cook w/in 5 minutes. And taste great. The corn flavor is there w/o being like eating a cob of corn. Definitely a great side with eggs and bacon, or with cheddar cheese and shrimp.

After finding out that Quaker was using GMO produce for its products, I looked to Bob's Red Mill for a non-GMO alternative and found that Bob's makes quick grits too.
