Review: Still great after six years and three kiddos - Have had this for six years and it’s gone through all three of my kids. Easy to set up, great quality, aesthetically pleasing, even four year old still likes to play with it while my 6 month old uses it. Review: Very nice toy to grow up with. - I will give this 5 stars but with an asterisk. We introduced this to our daughter when she was about 8 months old, and we would assist her in standing up next to it. As you will see with other reviewers there is a tendency for this to tip over if they use it to lift themselves up. This is part of the asterisk because the box clearly says 12+ months, probably for that very reason. The other asterisk is how it is put together. The base and top have the screw holes on the same plane so you cannot put your screwdriver in an exactly vertical position when putting it together. This is exacerbated if you use a power drill, but is made better if you have some bit extensions. I got it together but it was pretty annoying, if they could rotate the base 45 degrees it would be a whole lot easier but they may not do that because it may reduce the stability since the wall on the top is a grabbing point so they probably want the leg directly below it. Anyway, as far as the actual use of the product our daughter loves it! It is definitely a toy that she goes back to over and over again, and actually spends some time at it. There is enough going on that she will learn new things as she grows up. ## Features - HANDS-ON LEARNING FUN: The Tree Top Adventure wooden toddler toy is packed full of motor skill activities. Wanting to buy as first birthday gift but worried about it tipping over when baby pulls up on it.** A: It does tip over quite easily if a baby pulls up on it. By one-year-old, the baby should be standing or walking on his/her own, or at the very least, be pulling up a little gentler. Our daughter had issues with this tipping over when she was between 6-10 months. I had to always sit next to her and hold it steady. You could also wedge it in a corner as the other user said. Even now at 15-months old, I prefer it to be against the wall and not in the middle of the room, as she occasionally still tips it over. **Q: Yes s this suitable for a 2.5 year old?** A: Absolutely! Even my 18 month old can use it. I'm not sure at what age children would lose interest in this toy, though. I've had it since my baby turned 1 year old and he still likes it so far. **Q: I cannot find the age recommendation for this item, does any one know?** A: The recommended age for the Tree Top Adventure is 12 months and up. **Q: is it foldable?** A: No it is not foldable. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Still great after six years and three kiddos *by D***F on May 21, 2026* Have had this for six years and it’s gone through all three of my kids. My daughter is 6 months old and has just learned to sit up on her own. I wanted to get her something that held her attention, kept her occupied with more complex tasks for her hands, and something that she could play with while practicing this skill. The Manhattan Toy Tree Top Adventure Activity Center is so perfect for us. At first I thought it might be too tall but seated she can easily reach everything on the green and most of the center. I love this because as she grows and stands she will have more to reach and discover. When I compared this Tree Top Center to other basic cubes in the same price range, I preferred this one for several reasons. I love that the activities are not sectioned off (i.e. one side of sliders, one side of doors, one side of activity paths, etc) this has everything mixed up so exploration is more stimulating. I love that the four sections of the tree intertwine with each other. The colors and activities are bright and stimulating to look at and play with, without being a light up electronic toy. Plus the tree design is just so stinking cute! My daughter loves to play with this and it keeps her entertained, its adorable, the perfect size, great construction, and looks great in the playroom.
