VERY GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY (overall quality / finish good, instructions and tools useless)
I purchased this as I have already installed one in my home gym but too high for one of my boys so wanted a 2nd one to place lower on wall. Overall built quality and finish is good considering how cheap it is, the "tools" and "instructions" it comes with are pretty rubbish, the "spanner" is totally useless as its too small for the nut (see pics) the "instructions" advise you to use a 10mm drill bit I had to use a 12mm (see pics with a 10mm bit in the holes I had to drill to accommodate the bolts)

Awful product. Avoid anything this seller makes.
Buying a product in the slightly lower brackets you expect them not to be perfect. This wasn’t perfect. This was garbage. The spanner doesn’t fit the bolts. The instructions are useless. The wall fittings are cheap and sh*te. I’m probably taking this off the wall because I don’t think it’s safe enough. Can’t recommend this pull up bar less. Pathetic. Will be buying another pull up bar else we’re. Avoid avoid avoid.

Good product, good price
Very good product but you need to do a few things to ensure its assembled properly. I added pics to help with visuals.Handle grips: is water to get them on and in place without ripping them. They will tendon in place when the water dries and won't spin.Fastening bolts: there are 2 sets of bolts, 8 wall anchor bolts to fix the item to the wall but these are sub standard. You can get 2 packs of better quality bolts from your local hardware, see pics of the ones in used, pictured with the socket I used to tighten them. There are also 2 longer bolts for affixing the cross bar to the anchor bars. These are also not the best so take care not to over tighten them. These 2 bolts have a square neck to slot into the anchor bars, which also have corresponding square holes. The square holes are on the flimsy side and may become round if the bolts start to turn due to over tightening. I had to replace one of those bolts.Tools: the supplied spanner will only frustrate you. I used a10mm socket as pictured. You may need to get the correct size spanner if you charge those 2 bolts to one's that are slightly longer. After it is assembled, ensure you use a spirit level to get it nice and straight whilst mounting to the wall. There are some instructions to help you along the way.Overall its a good product and sturdy enough to trust hanging from it upside-down, just ensure it's fixed to a solid wall. I would recommend this product. Hope you find this useful

Does not meet my expectations
Unfortunately does not meet my expectations.a) Fixing. DO NOT USE IT! Just remove it from packaging. It does NOT hold this bar even in concrete (with my 100kg). Find out something more solid in DIY. I've used chemical anchor.b) Width of holds is fine for teenagers... but for grown-ups its a bit narrow. And in place, where the hold would be comfortable is a fix point to a wall-rails.c) Bar itself consist of two parts... you need some tape in the joint to prevent it moving.

Does the job
Initially I thought of returning the product as the rawl plugs supplied are 12mm not 10.Bit of faff getting the bar to line up with the screws but some brute force did the job.Now it's up, it's solid. Does the job just fine and no need for anything more expensive.I sacked off plugs supplied an used some 10x50mm M6 self tapping anchors to fix it into the garage wall. Cheap and easy.

Good product, rubbish fixings
As a pull-up bar, this is great - the foam handles were a bit tricky to put on as inside them is non-slip so that they don't move when you are using them, but a piece of paper rolled around the handle for them to slide onto, then pulled out, worked well. The handles are well positioned for use, and it certainly feels like a sturdy piece of kit. However, the fixings provided are substandard. It says it includes M8*80 anchor bolts, but mine came with M8*60 bolts, and they were a low quality type that doesn't particularly expand the bolt once in the hole. The first time I used them, the frame started coming away from the wall and I could hand tighten the screws as they loosened. I regularly work with suspended cables, so even though I gave it the benefit of the doubt, I did expect this to happen given the fixings provided. The solution was a £10 purchase of some heavy duty anchor fixings (just four for the top four holes - if those are secure enough, the fittings provided will be strong enough for the holes) and filling the holes with a 'Sticks like nails' paste so that there is no way that these would ever pull loose. With those bolt upgrades, the bar is absolutely perfect for my use. Search for "Litorange 4 Pcs Expansion Screw Bolts M8*80mm 304 Stainless Steel Heavy Duty Fixing Anchors" for the ones that I bought.
